Amany Travel & Logistics operates as a travel and logistics service provider based in Johannesburg, South Africa, offering travel arrangements, freight and logistics services, car rentals, document assistance, and related services.

2. Definitions

"We", "Us", "Our" refers to Amany Travel & Logistics.
"You", "Your", "Client", "Customer" refers to the person or entity using our services or making a booking.
"Services" refers to all travel, freight, logistics, transport, documentation, and related services offered by us.
"Booking" refers to any reservation or order placed through our website or directly with our team.

3. Services

We provide the following services:

  • Domestic and international flight bookings
  • Hotel and accommodation reservations
  • Tour and safari packages
  • Car rental services
  • Uber driver management (including double disk renewal and traffic registration)
  • Visa assistance and travel insurance
  • Freight and logistics services (South Africa to/from DRC)
  • Government document assistance
  • Transport services

We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any service at any time without prior notice.

4. Bookings and Payments

4.1 Booking Confirmation: A booking is confirmed only after we have received your completed booking form and, where applicable, payment or a deposit as required.

4.2 Pricing: All prices quoted are in South African Rand (ZAR) unless stated otherwise. Prices are subject to change without prior notice, but confirmed bookings will be honored at the agreed price.

4.3 Payment Methods: We accept payments via bank transfer, credit/debit card (through PayFast), and PayPal. Full payment is required before services are rendered unless otherwise agreed.

4.4 Book Now, Pay Later: For bank transfer payments, your booking is held pending payment. You must upload proof of payment within the specified timeframe to confirm your booking. Failure to do so may result in automatic cancellation.

4.5 Booking Reference: Each booking is assigned a unique reference number. You must quote this reference in all correspondence and payment communications.

5. Cancellation and Refund Policy

5.1 Travel Services (Flights, Hotels, Tours): Cancellation policies vary depending on the service provider (airlines, hotels, tour operators). We will communicate the applicable cancellation policy at the time of booking. Standard terms generally apply as follows:

  • Cancellation more than 14 days before travel: Full refund minus a 15% administration fee
  • Cancellation 7-14 days before travel: 50% refund
  • Cancellation less than 7 days before travel: No refund

5.2 Freight and Logistics: Cancellation of freight bookings must be made in writing. If cargo has not been collected, a full refund minus a 10% administration fee applies. If cargo is in transit, cancellation terms will be assessed on a case-by-case basis.

5.3 Car Rental: Free cancellation up to 48 hours before the rental period. Cancellation within 48 hours may incur a charge of one day's rental.

5.4 Document Services: Fees for document processing services are non-refundable once work has commenced, as government and processing fees are incurred upfront.

5.5 Refund Processing: Approved refunds will be processed within 14 business days and returned via the original payment method.

6. Customer Responsibilities

You are responsible for:

  • Providing accurate and complete information for all bookings
  • Ensuring you have valid passports, visas, and travel documents for international travel
  • Arriving at airports, hotels, and tour departure points on time
  • Complying with all applicable laws and regulations of South Africa and any destination country
  • Inspecting all booking confirmations and informing us immediately of any errors
  • Ensuring cargo for freight services is properly packaged, labelled, and compliant with customs regulations

7. Limitation of Liability

Amany Travel & Logistics acts as an intermediary between customers and third-party service providers (airlines, hotels, freight carriers, etc.). While we carefully select our partners, we are not liable for:

  • Delays, cancellations, or changes made by third-party service providers
  • Loss, damage, or theft of luggage or cargo
  • Personal injury, illness, or loss during travel or use of our services
  • Errors in information provided by the customer
  • Events beyond our reasonable control (force majeure)

Our total liability to you for any claim arising from our services is limited to the total amount paid by you for the specific booking in question.

8. Freight and Logistics Terms

8.1 Cargo Insurance: We strongly recommend full cargo insurance for all shipments. We can arrange insurance on your behalf at an additional cost. Without insurance, our liability is limited as per applicable law.

8.2 Customs Clearance: We assist with customs clearance but are not responsible for delays caused by customs authorities, incomplete documentation, or prohibited items.

8.3 Prohibited Items: You may not ship illegal goods, hazardous materials, weapons, or any items prohibited by South African or DRC law. We reserve the right to inspect cargo and refuse any shipment.

8.4 Delivery Times: Estimated delivery times are provided in good faith but are not guaranteed. Delays may occur due to border processing, weather, or other factors beyond our control.

9. Privacy and Data Protection

We respect your privacy and are committed to protecting your personal information. Please refer to our Privacy Policy for details on how we collect, use, and safeguard your data. By using our services, you consent to the collection and processing of your personal information as described in our Privacy Policy.

10. Intellectual Property

All content on our website, including text, graphics, logos, images, and software, is the property of Amany Travel & Logistics and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without our prior written consent.
